Foxtail Palm Trees are native to Northern Australia. The Foxtail Palm grows as a a slender gray single trunked tree. This Palm variety will grow rather quickly to its mature height of 30 feet tall.

Foxtail Palms will tolerate a wide variety of soil conditions but perform best when planted in a sunny, well watered location with good drainage.

Because the Foxtail Palm is sensitive to cold weather, it is restricted to USDA hardiness zones 10 and 11. This limits the Foxtail to the extreme Southern portions of Texas, Florida and California.
